
Born in Columbus, Ohio, Thomas Litzinger, M.D. graduated from Bishop Watterson High School. He received his bachelor’s degree at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and his medical degree from the Ohio State University. Dr. Litzinger completed his ophthalmology residency at the California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco, California. He attended Duke University to complete his corneal transplant fellowship.
Dr. Litzinger’s specialties include corneal transplant surgery, endothelial keratoplasty (DSEK), LASIK laser vision correction, Intacs® and corneal crosslink for keratoconus, management of acute corneal disease, and small incision cataract surgery. He will be the acting Director of Cornea and Refractive Services and will see patients in our Dublin, Columbus, Washington, C.H. and Grove City locations. Dr. Litzinger will be joining Columbus Ophthalmology in September 2012.
