Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Mark Nolan, O.D. received his bachelor’s degree from Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea, Ohio. He completed his optometry degree from the Ohio State University College of Optometry in 1995. Dr. Nolan joined Columbus Ophthalmology Associates in January 2001. His specialties include complex/specialty contact lens fitting, pre & post operative cataract and refractive surgery co-management, and corneal refractive therapy.

Dawn Hartman, O.D. received her bachelor’s degree from Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, Michigan. She completed her optometry degree from the Ohio State University College of Optometry in 1999. Dr. Hartman joined Columbus Ophthalmology Associates in July 2011. She has over a decade of optometry experience in complex contact lens fitting, comprehensive ocular health examinations, pre and post cataract and refractive co-management, and treatment of dry eye syndrome. Dr. Dawn Hartman is fluent in Spanish ~ Se Habla Espanol!

Alissa offers 18 years of optical experience. She joined Columbus Ophthalmology in 2000 as the Optical Manager. Alissa oversaw the design and set-up of both the Dublin Optical Shoppe and the East Optical Shoppe. She is a State of Ohio licensed Optician and certified spectacle Optician for The American Board of Opticianry. Prior to joining COA she worked for an optical lab in sales and in private practice as an Optician. Alissa received her undergraduate degree from Bowling Green University in communications and is currently a member of the MGMA and Gahanna Rotary.
Dolores joined Columbus Ophthalmology in 2003. During her tenure at COA, she has obtained her certification as a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant. She is a State of Ohio licensed Optician and certified spectacle Optician for The American Board of Opticianry. Dolores serves as the supervisor for both of The Optical Shoppe locations.
Dee has been a part of The Optical Shoppe staff since 2006. She worked as a front desk receptionist and medical biller prior to coming to Columbus Ophthalmology. Dee is a State of Ohio licensed Optician and a certified spectacle Optician for The American Board of Opticianry.
Kathy has served as the business assistant since 2007. While she works primarily behind the scenes, her responsibilities are what help keep The Optical Shoppe running like a well oiled machine. Kathy is responsible for filing VSP claims, ordering contact lenses, entering frame inventory along with many other important tasks necessary to keep things running smoothly.
Ben recently joined The Optical Shoppe staff and is currently in training as an optician.
