Meet Dr. Maxwell

Kaylin Maxwell, O.D., M.S., is a contact lens/ocular disease resident at Columbus Ophthalmology Associates, serving patients in Dublin and East Columbus.

Dr. Maxwell is a native of Schellsburg, Pennsylvania. She graduated suma cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown where she obtained her B.S. in biochemistry and from The Ohio State University College of Optometry where she obtained both her Doctor of Optometry and masters in vision science degrees. The focus of her master’s thesis involved assessing the effects of low-dose atropine eye drops used for myopia management on the accommodative system and ciliary muscle morphology.

Dr. Maxwell is currently licensed in the state of Ohio and is completing a cornea and contact lens/ocular disease residency at Columbus Ophthalmology Associates at their Dublin and East Columbus locations. After residency, Dr. Maxwell plans to pursue work in private practice. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, and high-school sweetheart, Ty and their three fur kids.
